(On tap @ the brewpub, Aug 5/19) Pours very hazy orange-gold with a decent white head and a little lace. Notes of candied mixed citrus, peach, bready lightly sweet malt, fresh herbal hops, becoming off-dry in the finish and above moderately bitter wtih a bite of pine resin and citrus peels/pith. Medium bodied and fairly softly carbonated. Solid modern IPA though a bit too resinous and bitter to really fit the NEIPA bill.

Smells nice and juicy, of tangerine and a little resin. Taste is a citrus, resin bready malt, with a mild pervasive bitterness that lingers. Decent.

Can from Halo. Pours a murky golden fading to beige with a solid sheet of head. Nose is resin and citrus hops. Taste isn't as hop-heavy up front as I would have expected, resin and some tangerine certainly, but the bitterness and resin build toward the finish, burn a bit, and linger. Overall a little rougher than I would have hoped.

Bottle from Halo. Brett, Imperial, Saison and three fruits? Boy they threw the recipe book at this one. Pours cloudy golden with a hint of pink, solid layer thick head. Nose is fairly mild (through that foam) a bit of plum, touch of funk. Nice balance here. Mildly sweet fruit base tasting mostly of plum, works well with a little lime pucker, and a calm bit of aserbic bite. Decently full mouthfeel. A doughy malt lingers out with the lime. Very drinkable, which is dangerous with a 9%, and more of a citrus sour, rather than a Bret. Enjoyable.

Can from Halo. Pours a very cloudy gold. Nose is juice citrus with some resin and pine. Sweet malty base that supports tangerine with edgy resin and a flat bitterness. The sweetness and bitterness lingers with touches of ash. The overall balance of this is decent, but the hops is coming off a little too harsh.

(500ml bottle from the brewpub, shamefully forgotten in a box for months by me) Pours quite hazy amber with a thick white head and lace. Aroma is stale hops which is my fault, lots of bready malt, musty fruity grapey undertones. Flavour is less obviously affected by staleness, a lightly tart peach and grape vibe, bready malt, fruit skins, low bitterness, quite smooth and drinkable for ancient IPA. Grapey aftertase. Medium bodied, average carbonation. I feel like a bit of an idiot for forgetting this so I'm going to score on the favourable side for how it drank as with a hefty dry hop this would be more interesting.
