We create craft beer experiences – we like to think we meet each of our customers where they are at on their craft beer journey. We do this by focusing on quality and consistency (like the well-trained engineers we are) and by crafting our products with purpose and intention. We brew a wide variety of styles and we believe we have a beer for everyone, even those of you who think you don’t like beer. We design beers to challenge your assumptions, and to honour traditional styles. We love what we do and where we live, and we love helping people like you find a local beer that you will love.
We were not always beer geeks – we have been on our own journey with craft beer. We started brewing in lobster pots in the backyard and fermenting in carboys in the living room (which occasionally meant yeast clumps on the ceiling)…and when we started drinking beer at least one of us mixed it with Clamato juice.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber gold with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Mild, sweet aroma of grainy caramel malt, honey, lemon zest and herbal hops. Sweet flavour of grainy caramel malt, honey, orange zest, green tea, grass and light piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Light body with a slick texture and average carbonation. Interesting.

375ml (thx, Renny!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma: lots of botanicals as in the gin barrels, some sweetness and tartness. Taste: along the same lines, lots of ginger (probably these notes coming from the elderflowers), soapy, intense. Overall: interesting.

Poured from 500mL bottle (pkg Oct 17, 2022). Hazy gold with full white head. Very kombucha forward, elderflower subtleness, weird for a beer, but makes a nice kombucha. Wondering whether this actually has any beer and should be included on ratebeer or whether it should be unrateable...

375mL bottle. Pours murky yellow with white head. Aroma has citrus, elderflower, wheaty malts. Flavour has citrus, floral notes, some wheat, lime peel, lingering kombucha-esque acidity. A bit too acidic on the finish, but actually pretty refreshing.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma has plenty of citrus, elderflower, and a touch of black tea. Flavour is vegetal, with lots of floral elderflower, tart citrus, and a sort of lemon lime soda character. Can't say this is good, but it's not a disaster.

Hazy, pale, with a thin head. This has a tart, kombucha accent, decent floral accent. Not bad.

Dark brown. On the nose, toasty and somewhat light. On the palate, it is a bit bigger, with more of a chocolatey character. A bit low on the bitterness here, which leads to a fairly simple malt character. Not much fruitiness, though I imagine some fruitiness or malt depth would benefit this. Just too simple for me.

22oz (thx, Renny!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: roasty, light sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, well-carbonated, quite dry, VERY roasty. Overall: old-school roasty stuff. If you are an old-world ticker, you will like this. I have moved forward, though.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Very dark brown with medium tan head. Dry, roasty malt, ashy, decent, old school style, perhaps a touch thin.
