On tap at Merit. Pours a hazy amber brown with a beige head. Bready malts, brown sugar, some dried fruit, and rum barrels on the nose. Flavour has plenty of amber rum up front, dried fruits, brown sugar, some slightly attenuated bready malts, and a hot finish. A little rough around the edges, but overall quite nice.

Part of the Hop Stars Mixtape Vol. 1, pouring a golden colour, with a bunch of tiny, transparent particles, creating a mild unfiltered-haze, a nice creamyish white cap, good stay and leaving foamy lacing. Some pineapples in the nose with oats, tropical notes, apples and herbal hints. The taste is lightly fruity with a peachy, pineapple touch, yet still not overly sweet, with the oats tart and a tad citrusy. Maybe a little too much oats compared to the hops. Still, a decent, juicy, easy-going Hazy IPA.

Part of the Hop Stars Mixtape Vol. 1, pouring a clean, light golden colour with a white cap that blows up a little, with average stay and some light foamy lacing. Aromas are a blend of lemon sourness with herbal hops, over some mild sweet cereal malts. Fresh herbal flavours with a touch of cereal malt and a tad wheat-banana taste. Pretty good for 3% ABV, but lacking just a tad balance.

Can from the LCBO. Hazy pale orange under a foamy white head that leaves spotty lace. Nose is citrus, berries, grass, light bread and some mineral notes. Light melon sweetness with a medium- grass and pineapple bitterness. Mouth is medium with average carbonation and a lightly bitter finish.

Can from the LCBO. Lightly hazed medium amber with a large foamy cream coloured head that leaves stringy lace. Nose has stone fruit, citrus and some herbal notes. Light fruity sweetness with a medium- citrus peel and grass bitterness. Mouth is slightly thin with soft carbonation.
