Shared by Crow. Gusher and then when I pour for myself... no head. Another ugly beer, dirty rose water, no clarity. Aroma, I keep going in back and forth whether I like it. I have decided I do because it smells like lychee, which I think is great. Flavor is not lychee, just bland semi-apricot dirty water. Also, somehow undercarbed despite the gusher. I’m super flummoxed.

12 ounce can. Bought at Uptown Market in Beaverton, OR. Pours a fairly cloudy orange color with a small white head. A light tea orange citrus nose. A big fresh citrus flavor, resinous, orange peel. Fresh and very flavorful. Solid IPA.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is huge on the peaches, with fresh peaches dominating - moderate sweetness, a touch of acidity. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of peaches. Not overly sweet, nor acidic. Not very complex or fresh, but it's decent. Overpriced and underwhelming. Meh.

Draft pour pint at Frankies pizza. Pours a cloudy lemonade appearance with an active fizz carb. Sweet lime heavy aroma. Margarita on tap? I’ve never had one of those beer infused margaritas, but If they are anything like this at all, I was missing out. I was hoping to get some tart out of this, but it wasn’t meant to be. Mostly sweet candy lime. Pretty good beer for a little while, but the initial surprise wore off and wanted something more beery. Does that even make sense? Who cares, I know what I mean.

Half pint on draft at Malt & Vine. Must be the end of the keg because its all sooty. Won’t base appearance rating on this. Its a low roast black IPA, maybe just a bit of it at the very end. Hops are strong particularly in the flavor. The bitterness seems to overwhelm the beer a bit, fresh though. Herbally earthy hops, not noble but not citrus. Well attenuated, dry malt flavor from the black malts. I like the lack of roast but too much bitterness. While the hopping is well done its just not varieties that speak to me.

Somewhere between a 2 and 4oz at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. Poured a very light hazy pale golden color with a small white head. Aroma was some hay, cereal, light bready notes. Some light floral notes. Light funky finish to it. Pretty tasty.

Somewhere between a 2 and 4oz draft or bottle (didn’t write it down) pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. Poured a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was herbal notes, caramel character, some earthy, spicy notes, light lemon citrus, touch tartness.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a slight, transient white head. Aroma is stone fruit and mild brett. Near med body. It starts rather sweet, has some ight stone fruit, and has the almost, but not quite sweat sox. Hard to pin this down. Actually drinks nicely. Finishes fruity with a little brett aspect. Makes me think of Justice and Alpha, but perhaps a bit smoother. Interesting stuff.

750ml bottle - lightly hazy gold - fairly effervescent pour - pillowy head that lasts a bit before eventually shrinking to a fluffy lace - nose is really quite lovely, reminding me a lot of Orval - light tartness and soft rustic maltiness, but mostly a distinct mix of musky/perfume phenolics, mild barnyard character, some mild touches of herbs - I could smell this all night - soft mouthfeel, moderate froth on the carbonation - flavor is a bit sweet for the abv - I was hoping for something more crisp and dry - some tropical brett characteristics (mostly pineapple), and mild funky phenolics - there is some mild hop character, but it seems a bit dull, so I think this is starting to show some age (based on the other ratings, I’m assuming this bottle is from the same batch) - finish of mildly spicy phenolics (pepper) and some gentle herbal notes - it’s really solid - just wish it was more crisp, less sweet - if they make it again, I’d love to try it fresh
