Bottle. Pours jet black with thin head. Nose is huge lovely coffee, pretty intense and it showcases the characteristics of the coffee that’s in there. Taste is light roasted malts, some booze, faint chocolate, some vanilla and big coffee again: slightly acidic, even fruity, chocolatey. Closes with long lasting coffee finish, has light body and soft carbo. Love the coffee presence here both in aroma and taste and the oak is a nice touch as well, but the base beers feels too thin.

Bottle. Pours copper with an off-white head. Nose is citrus zest, some stone fruits perhaps, grassy hops, and caramely hops. Taste is citrusy, grassy hops upfront, light to moderate bitterness. In the finish some sweetness joins the party tho, caramel and light bready malty notes appear. Closes with bittersweet finish, has light body and soft to average carbo. Although mosaic is a timeless classic, this is a bit one dimensional all in all.

Bottle. Pours black with a reddish hue and beige head. Nose is intense grapes and stone fruits, some plum on the coffeeish, roasted malty notes of the base beer. Taste is coffee, earthy notes and dark chocolate with the Kékfrankos joining the party somewhat later but taking on the lead onwards. It's truly on the border of wine and beer, both bringing something to the table. Closes with abrupt finish, has a light (in fact too light) body and soft to average carbo.

Bottle at home. Copper pour, off white head. Nose is bready, toffee malts, somewhat sweet, but not overwhelmingly. Taste is nicely balanced between bitter and sweet, leaning towards the later just slighlty. Grass, bread, toffee, faint nuts, some caramel. Closes with sweetish finish, has a light, crisp body and lively carbonation.

Bottle shared at home. Pours surprisingly deep, amber-copper colour with off-white head. Nose is an inviting mixture of the classic Belgian strong characteristics -sweet booze, candi and esters, that is- and a funky, brett-y, almost mixed ferm-like touch. Taste-wise it's not as mixed, but dominated by the estery, boozy honey-like character of the base beer with just a touch of that funk from the aroma. Closes with a long lasting sweet and warming finish, it has a full body and average to high carbonation.

Bottle at home. Hazy yellow pour, white head. Nose is intense tropical fruits and light citruses,it's mainly led by melon and that interesting, spicy cedar-like stuff so much so I'd swear there's Sabro in this if I didn't know better. Taste follows this Sabro-like character, melon and cedar, it shows the tropical fruits from the aroma and some booze too. Closes with a bittersweet fruity finish, has a medium body and soft carbo.

Botte. Semi opaque deep brown pour, beige head. Nose is roasted malts, light toffee, chocolate, rather faint. Taste is low roasted malts, light to medium sweetness, some dark chocolate and bready malts. Low intensity. Short, abrupt finish, light, almost watery body, certainly sessionable. Easy to drink, good for quantity drinking, but rather characterless.

Bottle. Pours an almost glowing orange with a quickly disappearing, finger wide white head. Nose is intense fruity, all three make an appearance but it's led by apricot and mango. Vanilla's also there, but the cocoa is only there to provide a kind of spicy depth, and it's pretty vague. Taste is sweet with hints of tartness here and there, showing mango and apricot and some zesty mandarin and vanilla alongside with lactose. Closes with a sweet and tart finish, has a light yet full body and soft to average carbonation.

Tap at Taphouse. Murky orangeish golden pour with a white head. Nose is candy, tropical fruits, some citrus zest. Taste is sweet and fruity upfront, with notes of tropical fruits, stone fruits and candy and a zesty, somewhat grassy touch afterwards. There’s a relatively intense hopburn present too, with a surprisingly bitter finish. The sweetness also started to become overhwelming by the end of the pint. All in all pretty decent.
