The twelfth of thirteen beers for our thirteenth wedding anniversary. Mifarí's. Bottle 0.375l, four and half years aged. The last memory for our Budapest madness trip. Cloudy, copper colored. AROMA- sweet fruit liquor, cherry, my father's homemade sour cherry liquor, currant, grapes, red wine, big flowers, mulled wine. FLAVOR- not so sharp as typical Flanders, lightly sweet, moderately sour, touch of pleasant alcohol, slightly tart, red wine, mulled wine, grapes, berries, sour cherry, plum, some barrel character. Fuller bodied.
Amazing.

Black, opaque with a fizzy, brown head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is subtle, with a touch of roastiness and dark chocolate. The taste offers pleasant depth, roastiness, dark chocolate, plenty of tart, acidic notes, and a slight warming effect on the throat. A decent stout.

Can 33 cl. Cloudy, opaque, reddish amber with a small, off-white head. Is that a hint of Brett in the nose? Paired with tart, red berries. Light body, super dry and slightly tart. There's a pleasant note of peaches that isn't directly buried in berry acidity. Surprisingly pleasant. 080326

Nagy, tartós, hófehér hab, opálos, sárga szín. Citrusos, mangós, virágos illat. Citrusos, mangós, füves, virágos ízek. A könnyű és a közepes test határán lebeg, nem túl izmos szénsavval, semmi keserűvel. Az alkoholt eldugták, kifejezetten friss, üde ital, jó arányokkal.

330ml can via Beer52: Fifth beer in a mini tasting session with myself, while Margie is out on 10th February 2026. Poured into my Gordon thistle shaped glass early evening (she's been out since 14:00). Viscous black body with a fizzing beige head that disappeared before I finished writing this!. Chocolate malty nose and taste, nice depth of flavour for a 6% ABV Stout, pity about the head. Liked it.
