Growler. Hazy dark golden. Sweet malts, vanilla, peach, sugary, blueberries, icecream, weedy hops. Over medium sweet, just medium bitter. Over medium body. Bit too milkshake for me, but otherwise quite nice!

Huge, dense, fine yellowish head with textbook lace over fully hazy yellow-orange beer. Citrus, spices, exotic fruit, kumquat, moss. Bitter orange, with quite some sweetness in the background. Bitter(ish) melons, bananapeel. Some toffee with bitterish fruit-caramel filling in the finish. Quite well-bodied, good carbonation, chewy, hopoily. Surprisingly good DIPA, without sporting an insane ABV. Like it!

Ridiculously hazy, perfectly straw golden coloured body with a large, four to five centimetre tall tan, microfoamed head that lasts long above the murky, 95 per cent opaque orange juicy body - THIS is what a New England IPA should look like! Aroma of grass, oranges, curacao, honey, vanilla and and a bunch of lactose - sort of creamsically, of course. Medium-bodied; Fairly dry and grassy malt notes show at first with a kick of the citrus fruits, especially curacao with some light grapefruit peel as well (not candied though) that adds some bitterness and finishes without much sweetness at all, and just a dry and slightly grassy kick that has some vanilla, cream and melons here, too. Aftertaste is robust and fairly well balanced throughout, with a good kick of malt, sugars, dryness and of course hops, all here at once, but persisting until the next sip. Overall, a very nice New England IPA that isn't horribly fruity, too sweet or one-dimensional - this shows a wide range, but still goes down easily, with a glimmer of bitterness from the hops, but not much. Nice to sample this one fresh - worth trying if you like range in your New England IPAs! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 18-December-2021 for US$3,59 sampled at my house here in Washington on 22-January-2022.
