Description
Arches Brewing is a craft brewery located in the arts district of Hapeville, GA. Our focus is bringing old-world beer styles to Atlanta by combining American craft and traditional brewing techniques. Our brewmaster, a biochemist, crafted his first batch of beer over ten years ago with the idea that beer could be made better through chemistry. Coupled with meticulous attention to detail and quality standards, we've developed over 38 distinct recipes across nearly all BJCP styles.
We offer three year-round styles, seasonal lagers, and several limited-release beers throughout the year available only at the brewery. We look forward to seeing you at the brewery!

12 oz. can at One Flew South, in the Atlanta airport. Pours a clear, amber color, with a medium, khaki head. The nose is pumpernickel, grassy hops, toast, coriander, and toffee. Sweet and malty and yeasty, with a mellow bitterness. Light to medium body, a but chewy, and chalky. Solid, interesting lager.

Pint at Local Relic. Pours a clear, golden color, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is pine straw, cardamom, rye toast, and light perfume. Sweet and malty, with a light, biting bitterness. Light and a bit acrid. Reasonable.

Tasty, with a lovely toasted biscuit base laced with caramel and red apple. Grainy sweetness turns to mild floral hop notes, with an easygoing cornbread finish. A tad sweet, but otherwise very drinkable.

On the fizzy side for a hefe, but the banana-clove nose is just about right. Taste starts yeasty with hints of lemon and white bread, then banana and clove come out, mixed with a mild honey-like undertone. Finishes sweeter than a hefe should, but otherwise not undrinkable.
