Pours clear dark reddish brown color with tan head. Aromas of dark fruits, molasses, bourbon, and oak. Sweet dark fruit and bourbon flavors up front with some molasses and finishes with some oak and vinous notes. Quite boozy. Full body with minimal carbonation.

Taster at the Craft Bar. Pours a clear, bronze color, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is wet grass, butter toffee, pine sap, rye crackers, and bitter pecans. Sweet and syrupy, with a mild bitterness. Light to medium body, with a creamy, silky mouthfeel. This is a solid and easy IPA.

On tap at Kickbacks, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lightly tart strawberries, with lacto and a touch of citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart strawberries, light lacto and a bit of citrus. Tart and a bit stale on the finish. Okay.

Sweet and sour. Dark orange, hazy. Almost no head, but still effervescent. Nose is tropical fruit, sour citrus. Sweet up front, but quickly goes sour, somewhat lactic, with a semi-dry finish. A lot of fruitiness, its all somewhat indistinct. A delayed aftertaste features a mild herbal hop.

Billed as Sourglass Petal Blizzard at Bowigens SourFest. I dunno if Hourglass is planning to make Sourglass an official label for their sours, but RB does not seem to have a special separate listing for these, nor are any of their other sours titled Sourglass in the database. Anyway, nice beer! Hazy pale gold. Aroma faintly bready. Doughy and mineral flavors, with a hint of cherry pit. Nicely balanced and pretty enjoyable.

Big bottle at home sipping while watching some film. Chestnut pour little murky smaller head. Nose is rich hard candy varietals from grandmas. Tastes of plums, caramel, molasses, spicy, some wine for sure, slight booziness. Interesting deep beer I dig. Been on Hourglass kick which expensive but fun.
