Outstanding IMO. Funky, the contribution of the manzanita is there but indistinct and hard to describe. Light tart, light barrel funk. Lightly bready/dough malt. Drinkable, moderate mouthfeel. Low carbonation on the palate despite the large foaming head.

Pours hazy light golden color with white head. Aromas of wheat, oak, and grass with slight funkiness. Grassy and fruity flavors with some oak, yeast and funkiness. Medium body with average carbonation.
Highly carbonated/lively but head disappeared quicky and a bit thin. Nice sour notes and lacto funk next to slight cloudberry flavor.

Hazy tea color, large bubbles, low carb, no head. Aroma hints at fruit but has mostly barrel funk and sourdough. Acetic tartness, very much in the vein of a flemish red ale, but softer, sweeter, cut by the fruit, which seem vaguely out of place here. They're not bad, but I'd like to see what this beer has to offer as a straight sour instead of fruited. A little more carbonation might help it a little but as it is, it almost has an aged unblended lambic type feel to it.

On tap at Argosy. Pours a cloudy copper with small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is lacto, sour fruit, earth, oak. Thin body, leather, tart, oak, funk, acidic, good.

Bottle says it nicely. perfect balance of blueberry, oak, and funk. Funk at the back and not at all overpowering.

No idea what a kumquat is but pretty good saison. Really drinkable. Hints of some sort of fruit.
