Can: Hazy yellow with a tall white head. Wheat, orange/grapefruit scent. Taste is fairly solid wheat malt, orange-peel, grapefruit-peel. Ok....a little dull....a bit more citrus zest would have been welcome.

On tap at Freehouse, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy rye whiskey barrels, sludgy notes and moderate roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of booze, whiskey barrels, and medium roast. Boozy and abrasive. Not a refined BA beer.

On tap at Freehouse, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a nice melange of wild yeast, hibiscus and citrus zest. Flavour is along the same lines, with hibiscus, citrus zest and wild yeast. Rather spicy, with lots of depth. This works really well.

On tap at Freehouse, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart peaches, gentle acidity and light saison yeast. Flavour reveals the peaches quite expressively, with a vibrant freshness, gentle but appropriate acidity and light lacto. Great use of the peaches. Very good.

On tap at Freehouse, pours a hazy peachy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light tart strawberries and a touch of lacto. Flavour has a bit of phenols, with lightly tart strawberries and some lacto. The phenols are very minor, so I can handle it, but it's still suboptimal.

Pretty average IPA, piney with a vegetal undertone and a wet grain malt profile. Mild citrus adds modest complexity, while the finish is somewhat medicinal, mildly bitter with a bland, bready fade. Eh.
