Bottle picked up at Beertopia Omaha, opened in Exira, Iowa. Hazy, dark brown appearance with an off white head. Roasty, nutty, a bit charred aroma with light notes of fruit and wood. Burnt, roasty caramel malty, a touch smoky, lightly fruity flavor with a smooth finish and relatively little in the aftertaste. Easy enough to drink.

Bottle picked up at Beertopia Omaha, opened in Exira, Iowa. Hazy pinkish orange appearance with a pillowy white head. Dry, dull fruity, a bit yeasty, a bit spicy aroma. A bit tart, lightly fruity, crisp, light grape, earthy bitter hoppy flavor. Drinkable but a little strange. Update: tasted on tap at Empyrean on 9/29 and seemed to have a mild diacetyl note.

Bottle picked up at Beertopia Omaha, opened in Exira, Iowa. Hazy peach appearance with a white head. Pretty dry, grainy, crisp pale malty, grassy aroma. Tangy, light lemon citrusy, crisp, straw flavor with a dry finish. Pretty easy drinking.

Bottle @ home. Cloudy, red-orange appearance with an off white head that disappears pretty quickly. Toasty, fairly rich caramel malty, quite sweet, albeit it boring aroma. Fairly thick mouth feel. Big caramel, thick grassy, rich, sweet malty flavor. I’m not digging it.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Mildly toasty, caramel malty, mild earthy, grassy hoppy aroma. Slightly citrusy, toasty caramel malty, moderate toffee, straw/grassy hoppy, cereal flavor. Nice to see Nebraskan brews finally make it to Colorado but this one is just decent.
