A little peach in the aroma and the flavor. Well hopped, lager yeast. Copper color and a little cloudy. It could use more peach.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2017. Pours a hazy orange with some sediment and a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a decent amount of anise and peach with some citrus and grains backing. Flavor has strong anise with some peach and sweet grains underlying.

The brewery rep called this a red lager, which makes me think Vienna lager. some foam on top and lacing the glass. Red color. Lots of malt, hops too much more malt forward. Dry, bitter hops, some grass.

12 oz can purchased at the Trader Joe’s in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Canned on 4/3/17 is what I believe it says on the bottom of the can (it’s a little smudged). The pour is a black deep brown with a one inch khaki head that falls pretty quick. The aroma is cane sugar, roast malt, and additional char. The taste is the roast malt initially, followed by pine and the cane sugar, along with a bit of soft milkiness and finishing dry with additional roast and char. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and the clean dry roast finish. Easy drinking beer, nicely done.

Pours a dark, cola-brown, with minimal head. Aroma has a touch of smokiness, along with some malt. Flavor is quite smoky, too, with some sweet malt and a touch of hops. This probably would be pretty good with something fresh off the grill.

Pours a golden straw from a can, slight honey aroma along with some grass. A hint of lemon in the mouth, but mostly a nice grassiness. Very well balanced. Pretty good beer.

Tap at CB3 in Rochester. Slightly hazy golden orange pour with dense frothy head. Aroma isn’t that strong - some faint earthy hoppiness. Taste is a mix of fruity and earthy hops that has a nice but light touch on the pronounced bitterness. Bubbly palate. Wouldn’t get again but not bad really.
