Sampled from the cask at ABR 2024. Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bread and vanilla with a roasty coffee and dark grains supporting. Flavor has earthy coffee with vanilla, dark grains and a hint of chocolate.

12 oz can. Deep amber color. Aroma is soft English toffee with bread crust. Flavor has the toffee, toasted bread, and a very mild light noble hop bitterness. Texture is dry with a mild crispness to it. Decent for the style.

On tap at Pizza Luce Richfield. Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has slightly sweet dark grains with a decent amount of roast and a slight earthiness underlying. Flavor is similar with creamy dark grains, growing roast and an earthiness supporting.

In the can the aromas are mainly orange while in the glass more of the hefeweizen come through, not entirely harmonious. Flavors are similar to nose and on the mild side. Slight sweetness with some yeast bitter in the back. Okay body and carbonation. Drinkable but nothing special.

Aromas are those of premium malt rice lager. Flavors are similar to nose and again no sign of Jasmine rice but a slight hint of coriander. The seed. More sweet than bitter with enough carbonation to balance. Decent body and sweet finish. Good but not great beer.
