Deep red brown color with thick tan foam. Malty, spicy, and woody aroma. Thick feeling with a toasty, wooden, earthy, floral flavor with a quick fading sweet caramel sweet finish.

On tap at M&M Hilton Head. Crimson with medium purple head. Aroma is ginger, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is wheat esters, ginger, and beets.

On tap at Tradesmen, pours black with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out coconut upfront, with a bit of cocoa and light roast. Flavour is loaded with prominent coconut notes upfront, with light cocoa and low roast. This is all coconut in the best of ways. Low sweetness and little else to speak of. Good stuff.

On tap at Tradesmen, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, light hop resins and diacetyl. Flavour is very malty, with caramel bready malt and subdued earthy hops. Way too malty and the butter kills this. No good.
