Serendipity, I happened to stop by on release day. Hazy, almost cloudy maroon purple color, small tan head. Aroma of berries, vanilla, booze. Taste is softly sour fruit and more booze. The flavors don’t quite come together, and I could do with a bit less booziness.

Can at 51st St Speakeasy. Clear golden yellow color. Light hay aroma. Taste is lightly bitter straw. OK. Re-rate on draft and it seemed to have more funk and pepper. Upping from 3.2 to 3.7. Different batch I guess.

Draft at Republic. Hazy pale yellow color. Nice floral haystack aroma. Taste is bitter straw and flowers bone dry finish. Very tasty.

Sample at Gabf. Pours a hazy gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is belgian yeast, oak, bourbon. Medium body, oak, yeast, pure sugar, boozy finish, very good.
