6 week old pint can A: Poured a thick pale rusty colored head atop a clear, orange tinted pale gold. Long retention and thick clingy lace. S: Light citrusy scent of grapefruit and other citrus peel, zest and pith. A faint bit of caramel. T: Orange and tangerine in spades. Very fresh and bright, almost overwhelming. Eventually some wood and toast appear. M: Soft, fine carbonation gives the tongue a delicate coating. O: Truly an orange bomb. Citrus hopheads will love this. I'm a fan.

2 week old pint can A: Crystal clear very pale yellow with a short loose head that fell quickly to bubbly patches. S: Bready or doughy with dry woody, grassy and herbal notes. T: Mildly bitter with a crisp fruity tartness suggesting underripe grapes or berries more than the usual apple or pear. Dry crackers and wood beneath. M: Softly carbonated, light and crisp with a wet puckering finish. O: Subtlety with just a bit of bold flavor produce a beautiful balance. Excellent.

8 day old pint can A: Clear pale gold with a lasting short craggy white head . S: Sweet citrus whether orange or tangerine with light caramel or biscuit underneath. Fresh but light overall scent. T: Bitter hops feature heavy grapefruit and orange pith and zest. Malts are light and toasty. Tart, lightly bitter and dry citrus aftertaste. M: Light, crisply carbonated, clean and dry. Highly refreshing. O: Everything I love in a pale ale. Even if it is labelled a session IPA.

Month old pint can A: Poured a tall thick white head atop a clear pale gold body. Long retention and thick sheets of lace. S: Fresh citrus. Mainly grapefruit and lemon, pith and zest. T: Woody and bitter with the same citrus factors from the nose plus some tart pulp, floral notes and caramel sweetness at the end. M: Light bodied, crisply carbonated and lightly resinous. 11 day old pint can A: Hazy yellow with 1 of long lasting off white foam and patchy lace. S: Bright lemon and grapefruit citrus, pineapple and sweet bread. T: Bitter and sweet at once. Grapefruit pith fades to lemon and grapefruit pulp and wafer cookie sweetness. Bitter grapefruit lingers. M: Light, smooth textured and clean with fine carbonation.
