The beer is a pale yellow tan color, quite pale. Large white head, fairly rocky. Some lacing. Good retention. The aroma is lemons, pineapple and tangerine hops, fruity brett funk, light grain, a little dust, some earth and mild peppery spice. The brett is light and seems to add a stone fruit-ish, maybe also from the hops. Taste is medium dry and mildly hop bitter. Some lingering citrus peel acidity. Moderate to medium astringency. Medium body up front but it’s pretty light after that initial creamy turbid hit. Easy to drink. Pale, fresh grain flavor. Mild phenolic note. It’s a pleasant hoppy saison with a touch of brett. It would be interesting to give it a little time and see if the wild yeast flavor picks up at all.

750 ml. bottle. It pours a lightly hazed pale golden color with a small, creamy white head. The aroma is subdued but pleasant with some lightly toasted malt, tangerine, pineapple and light hay-like funk. Hints of minty/floral hops. The flavor is fruity and peppery up front with dried pineapple, tangerine, hints of grapefruit and a good amount of peppery Saison yeast. Crisp, bready pale malts are hidden underneath. Pleasant funky, lightly phenolic brett notes come through in the finish and help dry it out along with low medium bitterness. The body is medium with a nice velvety texture. I quite liked this one. A pretty basic brett Saison with lots of tropical fruitiness. Good.

Capped 750 shared by Marcus. Pours light bright gold with a white head. Aroma is sort of lemon and yeast - spritely carbonation helps elevate molecules to the nostrils. Near med body. Flavor is clearly sour, not wrenchingly so, seems to be lemony - with a little paper which is not bad in ithis case. Not able to identify the wild yeast - fairly hoppy - mildly bittter for me - not a bad combo with the sour. Really refreshing. Good to drink.

750 ml. bottle from Berkeley Bowl. It pours a mostly clear, very pale yellow color with a medium/large white head that shrinks quickly. The aroma jumps out as funky and dank with some noticeable notes of earthy celery root, cheese, light sulfur and some lemony/tangerine citrus. The flavor is lightly tart, but mostly funky, dank and bitter. Very light bodied with almost no malt influence. It starts with some hints of lemon and and some pithy citrus rind followed by more earthy dank bitterness. The bitterness is kind of on the strong side and lingers in the finish along with some light plastic brett phenols, but not too overbearing. The fluffy, funky yeast character keeps things interesting, but I’m not getting much depth other than overt funk. Overall, this was a fun beer that balanced the hop and brett pretty well. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but could’ve used more expressive Sac yeast character.
