Description
As of 5/24/25 Wasatch Brewery beers will no longer be brewed in Utah. They will be brewed in the Monster Brewing network.
“Where’s the beer? Where are the breweries?” Those were among the first thoughts Greg Schirf had after moving to Utah from Milwaukee in the early 80’s. Incredibly, drinking and brewing were all but forbidden. Greg took matters into his own hands and did what any self-respecting midwesterner would do: He started a brewery. Wasatch was the very first brewery in Utah – and one of the first craft brewers in all of the U.S. – brewing award-winning brews since 1986.
In 1988, Greg Schirf proposed another bill to the Utah Legislature making brewpubs legal in Utah and opened the first brewpub at the top of historic Main Street in the resort town of Park City. Wasatch continues to misbehave, turning out naughty beer after naughty beer year after year.

Last one from Brenda,
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy orange color with tints of yellow along the sides of the glass. Light speckled lacing graces about the glass after the white foamy head died off.
The smell had the apricots run over top of a light wheaty/grainy spice of coriander.
The taste started off with the apricots and then a combined coriander to wheat bite slightly came.
On the palate, this came about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. The carbonation is good for the fruit beer style as it allows a nice refreshing quality about it. There’s a nice sweet apricot aftertaste and finish.
Overall, I liked this one and would have it again.

Sampled @ ChrisO after GBBF day 2. Hazy pale yellow color, average sized white head. Not too much aroma, just some malts, lightly citrussy. Taste lightly malts, citrus, hops, pretty bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation.

Bottled 355ml. -Finally! The most expected beers have arrived! Well, the story goes like this - my friend "Dragan the Drot" went to live to USA, Salt Lake City, so I’ve asked him to bring me some Wasatch beers when he would come to visit Croatia. So, he came here some four years ago, but have brought no beers. Then, a week later, his girlfriend came too, and he said she was bringing the beers. But, again no beers - they said she was thirsty and drank them while waiting for plane to catch....hmm?! Some time after that, he has sent a package - I though this is it, but no, he has sent a bottle of tequilla! (very good tequila but never mind). And now, after six years of waiting, my friend has come to visit again and this time he has brought a bunch of Wasatchs beers plus one Squatters! Heeeellll Yeaaahhhh!!!
Now something about beer itself...Dark amber/brown coloured, small beige head that went away fast, light roasty nose. Roasted malt, light coffee and dried wruits with touch of chocolate in the finish. Also a bit too watery and rather light porter.

Now something about beer itself...Clear amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, low carbonation, pure caramel in rather dusty nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light fruity, bready hoppy and slight alcoholic with some nutty notes in the sweetish finish. Funny memorandum on back label.

Now something about beer itself...Yellow coloured, small airy white head, big bubbles of carbonation, grassy nose. Weak malty, light grassy and quite watery with short bitterish finish. Poor brew.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance had a hazed over slightly red to light amber color. The head was there but it died within about less than forty seconds. Light lacing stuck and then slid.
The smell definitely had the raspberry and as it warmed there was a decent grainy/wheatiness lightly coming in.
The taste was a fairly decent combination of the wheat and the raspberry, slightly sweet but also a decent tart.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. The carbonation was decent for the style and for me. It seemed a bit slick on my tongue.
Overall, for the most part, a pretty good raspberry wheat ale I could have again.

Now something about beer itself... Cloudy yellow coloured, medium sized airy white head, hops and coriander in the nose. Moderate malty, fruity and light hoppy with coriander domination. The finish is dry and moderate bitter. Not bad.
