Pours bright mahogany into a stem glass. Off white head recedes leaving no lacing to coat surface. Plum and chocolate aromas. Soft with chocolate-covered pit fruit front to back. Thin lasting dusty finish.

Bottle. Pours with a nearly black hued body and a medium size somewhat lasting off-white head. Aromas are of bready, toasty, and nutty malts, some dark fruit, tobacco, dry chocolate. Bland. Flavors are ashy, chocolate, watery, roasty, nutty, grainy, a bit astringent, medium malty, lightly raisiny. Bland, watery, a bit messy. Lively carbonation, thin body as expected for a 4% by law beer.

Bottle pours a cloudy yellow gold with small white head that diminishes quickly. Medium mouthfeel with bitter hop and grapefruit flavor with nice lingering bitter finish. A very good IPA

12oz bottle pours with a pale opaque gold body that supports a thin near white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up a mix of lemon like citrus hops, sweet banana and a touch of grainy malts. The taste is similar with a light sort of citrusy hop note along side of some sweetness and a mild banana like esteriness. To midway a thin ribbon resiny hops of surfaces along with a slight increase in mostly citrus based hop bitterness.

Growler. Pours a deep mahogany hue with a medium tan head. A sweet nutty nose, caramel. A light sweet flavor, some light roast, nuts, smooth chocolate and light smoke. Decent. Very thin.

Looks like a glass of flat cola. Pours a dark, tea-color, with little to no head. Aroma dominated by malts. Flavor a combination of some fruity notes (raisin), with perhaps some chocolate and some coffee. Rather sweet underneath. A bit on the light side in mouthfeel. Again, kind of a disappointment (my 2nd beer from Wasatch).

Maybe I got hold of a bad bottle, but this was pretty awful. Pours a hazy, cloudy light gold with minimal head. Citrus aromas. Flavor is a bit like a Belgian witbier crossed with window cleaner. I don’t see or taste anything to warrant this being called an IPA.
