12oz can from Boise Co-op Meridian. Pale yellow body with a small foamy head. Grassy, sweet, earthy aroma. Taste adds a savory snap, a sharp, zesty bitterness and a hint of lemon peel. While it seems quite light, the bitterness lingers long after the beer is gone.

Taster at brewery. Clear amber, spotty head. Hopes aren't high based on 2 previous offerings. Light woody, nutty aroma. Astringent taste, sweet, dry. Bland malts. Three strikes.

Bomber from brewery. Almost clear golden, foamy head, lazy carbonation. Bready aroma, biscuit malts. Taste continues the light malty character, with a bit of sweetness towatds the back before fading into a mild, drying bitterness. Solid!

10oz pour at brewery. Near black pour with fine, silky beige head, solid lacing. Smoky, roasty aroma, light chocolate. Taste amplifies the chocolate, adds vanilla, sweet notes, with the oatmeal contributing a smooth, creamy texture. Quite nice.
