16 oz can from Mount Royal bottle shop in Duluth. Aroma is earthy, vomit, coriander, pepper, wood chips, chili powder, lime. Oh my sweet lord, what is this? Pours cloudy yellow with a decent white head that laces a bit. Taste is sweet, spicy, and lightly tart from the lime juice before a high bitterness sets in and lingers. The lime stands out the most, and the spices compliment it. Crazy Aunt is a crazy beer for sure. I’m not sure if I like it yet, but it is interesting.

16 oz can poured, sent over by Hoff. Thanks! I feel like the lighter the beer, the more I enjoy the coffee in it. Shiny golden pour, with a patchy fizz head. A very inviting coffee aroma upon first cracking the can open. A nice creamy body, with a bold coffee to pair with a sweet cream. A sweet honey note as well. Could go for a little more coffee though, since it fades before a straw grain lingering finish. Mild coffee and cream front really works here, for me. Tasty brew.

More recent sample as dank bot. Copper color. Lightly hopped. Moderate malt, flavor, some grain. Neither the hop nor the malt are doing much here. It might be better classified as a session ipa because it is very drinkable. Dry finish.
