On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep copper color with a medium white head. A light sweet nose of caramel and fruity hops. Some odd super sweet glue flavors, toasted malt, toffee, light pine and some fruity hops. Mellow overall. Earthy. Decent brew.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy straw color with a medium white head. Light sour grains in the nose. The flavor is tart, melons, mostly a sugary sweet base of wheat and sweeter fruit. Later I had it with the Rhubarb syrup, I enjoyed that. Decent brew. Flavorful for the ABV. Tart but light overall. Certainly lactic.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow/orange color with a medium white head. A sweet grainy and butterscotch nose. The flavor has some earthy fruity hops, metal, sweet grains, kind of odd at times, sweet husk. Decent. Grew on me, sort of raw and sweet.

On tap at Bailey’s Taproom. Pours a deep brown color with a medium beige head. A big burst of coffee and peppers in the nose (from the coffee, I always get green pepper with heavy roasted coffee beer). The flavor basically follows a big coffee beer with vanilla, sweet lactose and coffee, light metal. Very nice.

Looks fairly good with amber body and white head. Faint hop light aroma, tastes like cough syrup, far too sweet for a pale ale. Finish is frankly ghastly. Avoid this

Tap at APEX, PDX, 26/05/13. Almost clear dark amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is rye, light hop presence, bitter oragne. Taste comprises hops, orange pith, light grapefruit tones, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light hop bitterness in the finish. Decent enough IPA.
