Growler with huge thanks to Bvdubn! Pours cloudy ruby red, some chestnut. Smallish pink head that has some staying power if you pour a little vigorously and leaves some lacing on the glass. Aroma is heavy tart cherry, probably the most obvious cherry I have ever smelled in a beer before. Some caramel notes as well. Flavor is medium sweet, balanced by a light tartness, very very cherry, and real cherry too, no jolly rancher crap. Tastes like whole cherries, including pits and skins. Surprisingly full rich body, creamy mouthfeel. This is a very nice, ummm, beer.

10oz goblet at the brewery pours a clear brown with some thin, off white head. Nose has some malt, a little pumpernickel, a ton of clove, perhaps too much clove, dates, raisins, a little nail polish. Flavor has a lot of spice, just too much clove and nutmeg and banana, some bread crust, some date. Boozy finish. Drinks heavier than 7.5%.

12oz pour at the brewery. Pours a translucent orange with some sudsy white head. Nose is spot on, soapy, piney, orange, lemon, light malt. Flavor is the same, lightly malty, lightly lemony, a little tea, a little stone fruit, unripened plum. Clean finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep purpley amber with some thin white head. Nose has a lot of berry, jammy, floral, but mostly just a big bouquet of fruit. Flavor is the same, big berry, raspberry, jammy, some candy sugar. Finishes a little sweet. Not as good as their kriek, but nice. A bit too sweet.

12oz goblet at the brewery pours a translucent yellow with some thin white head. Nose is nice, candy sugar, tropical fruit, clove, some unripened peach. Flavor is the same, sweet, candy, tropical fruit, clove, a little taffy, some mild pepper. Sticky finish. Very true to style.

16oz pour is a clear brown with some thin beige head. Nose is nice, vinous, malty, cracker, mild booze, almost like processed mead. Flavor is solid, malty, vinous, a little tannic, lemon tea, honey, dried grass. Clean finish. Complex but drinkable.

Growler thanks to Brenton! Pours a hazy golden peach with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of rich sweet peach with a bit of sweet grains underlying. Flavor has lots of sweet peach up front with a bit of growing tartness towards the finish and underlying sweet wheat.

Growler. Deep reddish purple color, good retention, solid lacing. Aroma of intense fruit, subtle almonds. Taste is sweet and sour berry. Tasty.

Sampled from a growler this beer poured a very dark brown color with a trace white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was piney and floral hops. The flavor was semi-sweet pine, orange, and grapefruit with a bitter roasty undertone. The finish was long and tangy pine, orange and floral hops. Medium body. Ok.
