Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours brassy gold with a decent white head. Aroma of bread and grassiness. Near med body. Flavor is spicy/grassy with some crackery malt support. Clean flavor. Deserves to be labeled pilsner.

On tap at Firehouse in Sacramento. Pours deep brown with brown head and highlights. Coffee dominates the nice with vanilla backing. Medium body leads to coffee and chocolate flavor with slight roast in the back. Easy drinking and nice beer with dessert.

Can from the Davis Co-op. Pours clear dark brown with reddish glints and a foamy beige/tan head. Maple wafts from the pour. Med body. Flavor is maple, nutty, slightly roasty malty. Not dry, but far from sticky. It's bitter, and I'm not figuring out what helps with that. Not so overdone as some maple flavored brews. Decent.
