12 oz. can from Total Wine - Melbourne. Pours a crystal clear dark amber color with a khaki head and good retention. Good lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Very sweet caramel and toffee flavors. No bitterness. Very clean and smooth. Light crispness with a slick finish. Simple and very tasty. Bordering on dessert beer territory.

12 oz can from Total Wine - Daytona Beach, FL. Pours a crystal clear mahogany color with a small beige head and decent retention. No lacing. Faint brown sugar aroma. Tastes like a pumpkin beer without the pumpkin flavor. Pie spices and caramel mixed together. I don't taste any oatmeal or creme pie. Low carbonation. Medium-light body. Short finish. Sweet, not bitter. Clean and simple. I like the flavors, but this is not a brown ale. It's a spice/herb/vegetable beer.

12 oz. can from Total Wine - Melbourne. Pours a clear very dark ruby color with a tight beige head and great retention. Good lacing. Sweet brown sugar aroma. Sweet candy caramel-forward flavor. Tastes more like a red ale than a porter. Clean and smooth. Sticky sweet mouthfeel. A little thin for the style. Low carbonation. Definitely a dessert beer. No bitterness. Too sweet for repeated consumption. Needs a bit more porter flavor.
