Cask. Clear dark maroon brown color. Aroma of huge cocoa powder. Taste is sweet and smooth cocoa. Nice.

Cask at Churchkey. Cloudy yellow orange color. Aroma of huge bright lime. Taste is watery lemon and lime.

Server warned us that this had been on cask for a while, and he didn’t charge us for it. And it was a bit oxidized, but the fruit was a decent addition to the base beer, especially in the summer, with a nice combo of light spice and fruit.

Definitely a lot of lime. Comes together ok but a little lacklustre. Weak palate and a little watery, with ingredients not super pronounced. Cask at Churchkey thanks to Gendv138.

Certainly smells like peppercorn. Probably the best of the special casks I’ve had today from Monocacy and Brewer’s Alley. Some lemon zest, and some neat peppercorn aroma in initial smell. Pours amber without much head or lacing on cask. Some sourness, some bitterness in finish. Thanks to Travlr for sharing a taste of this.

4 oz cask pour at ChurchKey shared by Travlr, thanks Gene! Hazy amber with off-white head. Aromas of floral, lemon lime citrus. Tastes of citrus, rind, floral, light black pepper. Medium-light body and dry. Medium-low carbonation.

4 oz cask pour shared by Travlr, thanks Gene! Black with light tan head. Aromas of coffee, roast, chocolate, licorice, dark fruit. Tastes of coffee, chocolate, licorice, dark fruit, bitter roast. Medium body with a dry finish. Creamy mouthfeel.

4 oz cask pour at ChurchKey. Hazy apricot yellow with off-white head. Aromas of lime fruit and peel, lemon juice, light floral notes. Tastes of lime fruit and peel, floral hops, bitter rind. Medium-light body and semi-dry. Simple but tasty.

4 oz draft pour at Smoke and Barrel. Golden brown with off-white head. Aromas of rye, citrus fruit and peel. Tastes of rye, citrus, spices. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation.

A very drinkable coffee bomb. Pours black with good head and lacing. Decent balance of roast and coffee, but not a lot of substance behind it. Watery finish with light bitterness. Tap at meridian pint.
