Dark brown color. Thin palate, particularly for the style. High alcohol is hidden but this beer is low on the flavors i associate with an old ale without the palate of the British beers.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2018. Pours black with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a lot of dark grains and bourbon with sweet chocolate and roast underlying. Flavor has sweet dark grains, bourbon, chocolate and roasted malts supporting.
