Black color. This has lots of smoke in the aroma and the flavor. Heavily roasted malt and sugar.thick and heavy palate. Better than I expected it to be.

Crowler. Orange-amber color, clear. Big toffee nose, diacetyl and caramel. Oranges, spices, slightly burnt aroma as well. Weird stuff, lots of butterscotch and toffee and spicy. Not old, but something wrong here.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, loads of peated chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, very nice and complex. In mouth , a nice chocolate malt with loads of smoked bacon, grassy hops, alcohol warmth, very nice and complex. Bottle at Dark Lord Day 2018.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has creamy sweet grains with bitter citrus and some sweet tangerine. Flavor has sweet grains and some lactose with citrus and sweet tangerine supporting. A bit like a creamsicle.

ABR 2017. Copper color. This is a sweet beer, yeast, sugar, and dry finish. I am not getting the aquavit specifically, but the barrel aging seems to have smooth this out. One of the better beers I had at the festival.

Crowler. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has a nice citrus note and a bit of pine with some grains supporting. Flavor has more resin and citrus peel with a bit of pine and a grain backbone.

Sampled from the tap at the Minnesota Winterfest 2018. Pours a clear very light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of ginger and lemongrass with tart lime and wheat underlying. Flavor has ginger forward with lemongrass, lime and a bit of wheat backing.

Bottle, thanks for sharing! Pours black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet dark grains and milk chocolate with a light bourbon note underlying. Flavor has a combination of dark grains, roast and milk chocolate with a bourbon bite in the finish.

Bottle thanks to deyholla: Poured a black with little tan. Nose was bourbon and peanut. Taste is sweet peanut rich malty.
