On tap at In Cahoots. Pours coca cola like, near clear deep brown with visible carbonation and minimal head. Aroma is chocolate forward with a bit of tart apple underlying. Flavor is much more tart apple forward with a sweet chocolate finish. Odd combination.

Tap at the brewery. Served in a tulip. Very little hop character in the flavor or aroma. Dry, bitter malt flavor. The cardamom is there in the flavor. I was hoping for something like Pannepot, which has cardamom also. A bit thin on the palate, which I find with other Scottish ales.

Tap at Dangerous Man. Very dark brown, or even black but hard to tell in the dim lighting. Full flavored and good aroma. Roasted malt, peanut butter is there in the aroma first, then the flavor. Moderately sweet, reminds me of their milk stout in that regard. Palate feels thick and heavy, but at this abv, it is easy to drink.
