Served in a wine glass.
The appearance was a clear golden yellow with a vast array of carbonation bubbles stuck along the sides of the glass. There’s no head nor is there any lacing.
The smell had alcohol and apples in a vinous sort of way.
The taste was basically the same leading into a dry vinous aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this sat exceptionally light and spry on the tongue popping all over my taste buds but not popping them. The carbonation finishes not as sharp as expected.
Overall, though I am still trying to figure out why hard ciders are on here, from what I’ve had this is quite possibly one of the better ones because of the way it felt on my tongue.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold. Smells like mild apple skin. Med body or nearly. It’s sort of crisp/tart. Seems to start towards sweet, but never gets there. Finishes towards dry and tart.

Bottle - Apples, some vegetative herbs and some sweetness. Clear gold with no head. Sweet apples, peach, some light tartness and a nice finish. Although nice, I don’t get the hops unless it is herbal notes in the nose.

Bottle. Pours with a pale yellow hued body with a quick to fade head. Aromas of sulfur, light ethyl acetate, vanilla, and mild phenolic rubber. Mostly sulfur, vanilla and apple-pear. Flavors are just off dry not offensive, mild sweet, floral pear and vanilla flavors. Soft acidity and tannin. Lively carb, medium low body.

Bomber, shared with brenn79 (thanks!) and anderson01. Pours clear pale golden with a ring of white foam. Aroma consists of apples, cat piss, sauvignon blanc, minerals. Taste is sweet briefly before becoming tart. Has a real white wine character. Carbonation is fairly soft, body is medium. Hops come through more in aroma than flavor. Just ok overall.

On Tap at Whole Foods, Boise. Clear deep golden orange with a nice fine white head. Fresh apple aroma with some citrusy hop notes. Bright fresh apple flavor. Just a touch of the hops coming though.

Bottle from a local Raley’s supermarket. Pours sort of golden perry with some bubbles on top. Aroma is melon/cider with discernible peach. Gotta love Galaxy. Near med body. Hardly any carb. Flavor is melon/peach. Quite smooth and nice. A little cider flavor comes along with time.

Bottle from lets pour dot com. Sweaty bottle, tulip pour.
Light pale lager body. No fizz, despite a heavy-handed pour.
Smells of bitter melon, florals, mixed greens, corn syrup, & pear. Note: backsweetened with pear juice.
Taste is mostly pear & some very decent & juicy dry hopping. Gently sweet & not much else unfortunately. Surprised it’s the same base as their regular cider.
Lightly carbed, slightly syrupy. A little boozy. Sulfite laden.
Could slosh the rest of this with some food. Ehh, maybe not.

Bottle from Made in Oregon. Decent prices, free shipping, no tax, first rate.
Bomber to pint glass. Egg whites. Where did this head retention come from? Clear, golden lager body.
Smell is all Nilla wafers. I don’t know why either. Eventually we get a little pear, & some not so amazing huffs of plastic/banana-laced yeast.
Taste is better, but nothing amazing. Grocery store apples & pears. Bright upfront, decently tart. Not absurdly sweet. Middle end on in it becomes a bit soapy & muddled with not so nice phenols. Peaking in, is that generic Woodchuck runoff/cheap boozy quality you’ve come to expect in everything. Finish is sharp apples & loads of sulfites. Refreshing at times. Could of been worse.
Plenty carbonated, sharp, with just a tad bit of body.
Serve over ice. Now where have I heard that before?
