Bakgaarden Både & 021117. Golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is tequila, hop, pine. Flavor is tequila, hop, pine, caramel, vanilla, wood, alcohol. A little bit dominated by tequila.

Tap. Pours mostly clear golden orange, small off white head, good lacing. Aroma is pine, oranges, caramel, a touch soapy. Flavors is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, a bit of rye spice. Medium body. Eh.

Tap @ Både &, Kristiansand. Unclear orange body with a thin, fast disappearing white head. Strong and nice aroma of mature fruit, caramel, toffee, wood and a touch of better quality Tequila. Flavor has the same kind of mature fruit and smooth caramel/toffee as aroma, there is also a hint of wood, moderate bitterness, just enough to balance the sweetness and a warming touch of alcohol/Tequila to finish it all. Full bodied and long lasting, sweet and soft aftertaste. It’s a very balanced, super smooth and tasty beer, the alcohol part is not too dominating at all, just adding a nice touch to the rest. It’s pretty heavy in flavors, still so balanced and dangerous easy to drink. Like it a lot and could have another anytime.

On at at Berts Growler Garage, Ontario Fairly clear deep brown with redish highlights. scant wispy head. Modest roast aromas, nice touch of maple and roast malt flavors. Rather clean body and easy drinking. Not overly sweet or thik as I feared. Good stuff.

Fra fat på Bøker & Børst (Stavanger), sammen med BF: lett uklar gylden med flott skum. Superfrisk og god med akkurat passe sødme (tropiske frukter), deilig bitterhet (grapefrukt), litt rugsyre, krydder og karamell i en solid maltkropp. Flott munnfølelse og lekker bitterhet i den lange ettersmaken. Svært lettdrikkelig.

Kick 250217. Black color with a small brown head. Aroma is licorice, cocoa, coffee. Flavor is dry, cocoa, coffee , chocolate, berries, licorice.Full body. Pleasant very nice beer.

Bomber. Aroma is fleeting orange circus peanut, roasty, vanilla, maple. Pours dark dark brown, nearly black, with ruby red highlights and a one finger beige head with decent retention. Taste is sweet and roasty with flavors matching the aroma with some licorice notes. Somewhat soft carbonation and a tad thin. Doesn’t taste as good as it smells, and I wish the body was fuller, but it’s still a really nice beer.

Tap at Growler Guys. Dark brown pour with a thin beige head. Aroma is mild, sweet and nutty with a light roast. Very sweet taste. Definitely dessert like and reminds me of the Southern Tier stuff. Sweet pecan pie and vanilla. Makes me want some ice cream to drizzle this on.

Hazy golden with a white head. Has all the hallmarks of a classic saison but misses the mark on proper balance. Peppery, hay, yeast, a bit of bread malt. Medium, effervescent body. Decent but needs some polishing.
