Draft: Poured a brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma was nice sweet malts. Taste was a mix of roasted malts and hat that nutty finish that I have been looking for in a brown ale.

Draft: Poured a thick black color with a tan head. Aroma was roasted barley and soft hops. Taste had a nice thick roasted almost coffee taste that was more smooth than gritty just enough hops in the finish to keep it lively on the palate.

Draft at Tap Root Beer and Mead Social: Thrown off by the color since I didn’t expect it to be a yellow and white fluffy head. I’m very use to darker beers being barrel aged. The aroma is woodsy, soft malts, and yeasty. Taste is strong wood with decent alcohol heat, malts, earthy, and some bread yeast balance. Very interesting brew!
