Growler thanks to my Anchorage buddy "King": Poured a clear with white head. Aroma is fresh grain. Taste is nice refreshing grain.

Draft at AK BW fest 2016. Dark clear brown color. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Taste has bitter cocoa, coffee, smooth finish. Very nice.

Draft at AK BW fest 2016. Hazy golden color. Aroma of grassy citrus. Taste has pineapple and citrus. Very tasty.

Draft at AK BW fest 2016. Golden amber color with a subtle reddish hue. Aroma of subtle fruit. Taste starts sweet, soft sourness at the finish. Plain but easy drinking.

Hand bottle from further. Of course no head but that’s ok. Despite a setup that would usually hit on all my hate strings, it’s actually well done. First of all, it’s not boozy, also not astringent; two big pitfalls avoided. Not hop centric, which I prefer. It’s not barrel heavy, which I also prefer. It’s a very chewy malt base with some sweet malt syrup. Finishes lighter than expected with all the chewy malts. Leaves me wanting more. Thanks John.

Draft at GABBF: Poured a pitch black color with a tan head. Aroma is bourbon, roasted malt, light vanilla. Taste was bourbon, roasted malts, and chocolate.
