Dullish colour, just a thin head. Quite spicy. What’s in this? Quite sweet, malts are a bit flabby. Ok so its not even spicy, it’s lime!

Nice citrusy hop aroma. Moderate bitterness and some tropical fruit accents.

Draught @ the Phoenician. Strong, fairly boozy. Lots of hop bitterness, not so much on the aroma side.

Very dark black, super viscous. So rich, chocolate, kind of graham cracker. Big molasses, some burnt sugars, lots of alcohol, big sugars. This is a lot of fun.

On tap at Kings Beer & Wine. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Fresh with hops, citrus, mango and some hints of grass. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a slightly hazy gold body that supports a thin dirty white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up grapefruit zest, grapefruit and a floral hop sensation. The taste delivers a blend of juicy malt sweetened grapefruit and bitter grapefruit and bitter pith and zest notes. This works pretty well as and toward the finish a modest level of bitter floral hops bubble to the surface.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The mild aroma offers up a pulse of vaguely pine hops growing into a bit of a distracting sweet bread notes. The taste delivers a blend of sweet bread, candied citrus and thin pine and grapefruit hops. Interesting but not good.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a cloudy near opaque gold body that supports a thin bright white head of foam. The aroma offers up grapefruit tart candy, guava and then faint cantaloupe and mango. The taste delivers bitter grapefruit and some thin bitter lemon lime notes. Toward midway it picks up thin soft mango and cantaloupe. Pretty nice stuff.

Pint can pours with a murky opaque dull gold to copper body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up peach, tangerine, pineapple and then a vanilla note. The taste delivers tangy and juicy tangerine, peach and pineapple. It moves into a realm of increasing sweet vanilla and somehow even tangier citrus fruitiness. The vanilla and tanginess isn't really going together perfectly. Slightly older samples of this were getting just far too sweet.
