Description
Lazy Monk Brewing was built out of a desire to serve our community with quality biers made in the old world tradition of the Czech Republic and Germany.

We are a European craft brewery that focuses on traditional Bohemian and German Bier styles but we don't shy away from Ales or IPA's.

We have 14 taps of Bohemian and German Biers in our European Bier Hall. We also have an amazing German Bier Garden overlooking the beautiful Chippewa River in downtown Eau Claire.

Find out what happens when community and friends meet over our amazing biers brewed in the old world tradition.

Na Zdravie!

Tap at Vintage Sauk City. Filtered tan body. Slow rising C02 bubbles. Not much of a head. Smooth, crackery, pleasant malt tones. Really pleasant, not sure what to categorize this as it has more malt depth than most Pale Lagers, perhaps just heavy on the Munich malt. Very Lazy Monk, but not quite perfect like some of their stuff. Good, unique.

Tap at Rays. Filtered yellow-tan body. Nice creamy white head. Doughy, grainy aroma. Soft and delicate. So much better than most US or even European examples. So smooth and creamy. Medium bodied, not far from light. Just a perfect beer. Awesome balance. Great.

Draft. Deep yellow/orange with a short, white head. Aroma of raw grain, light corn, grass. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Lacking crispness. Little nuance with an undercurrent of dusty grain.
