A very interesting beer. Aroma is honey sweetness and floral hops with very faint yeast. Medium to light body. Flavor is full of honey sweetness with floral and earthy hops, very sweet malt, and yeast tingles. Finish is round with light carbonation. Very interesting brew. Not hoppy enough for an IPA but way too sweet for a triple or saison. A pint is hard to finish but glad I tried it.

Aroma: The nose has caramel notes, earth, some citrus/grapefruit, and a little resin
Appearance: It pours a dark reddish-brown color with a small beige head, and some light drippy lace
Flavor: Similar to the nose and balanced, with a medium sweetness and a light-medium bitterness
Palate: It has a creamy feel, a medium body, average carbonation, and a clean, mildly dry finish
Overall Impression: Even though it is 12/12/12, I'm not drinking any Vertical Epics today, but that'll happen later (Vertical Epic Weekend!). As for this beer, this is plenty solid. Don't let the score fool you, 20 is the style? It is better then that! It is not nearly as dry as the explanation would have lead me to believe, but it has a nice balance and drinks well. Very solid stuff.

Yep, on tap at the monaca bocktown. Nice black our. Thin creamy head. Very nice stoutish aroma. Not volatile like so many impy stouts. Goes down fairly well. Smooth yet does not let you forget it is a beer. Weird saddle or boot taste in the background. Could be a little more well behaved.

22 oz. bottle purchased @ Beer Heaven. Bottle says 6.5 % ABV. Lager glass shows deep amber with brown hues. Thin off white head, not much lace. Nose is mostly nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste has canned pumpkin near the finish with the other mention spices. It’s light on spice which I like in the style. Body has a creamy texture. This is to my liking for a pumpkin.

Deep dark brown coloured body, very hazy with a thick, fast-dying two centimetre tan head. Aroma of squash (tons of it), allspice, canella, cloves and a bit of candied ginger, all with a bunch of malt and alcohol as well. Medium-bodied; Assertive spicey flavour with a noticeable squash bite and a little alcohol and malt on the backend, but most of the flavours are within the first second or two. Aftertaste is mild and only showing a minor amount of the tastes - not much at all to savour. Overall, a pretty substandard pumpkin beer, with perhaps a nicer nose than usual, but the taste and palate disappoint. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Wegman’s in Malvern, Pennsylvania on 22-September-2012 for US$5.99 sampled at home in Washington on 08-October-2012.

Black with a mammoth head. Took forever for this thing to fizz off and I could actually pour the whole beer. Aroma is smokey, salty ham, meaty, roasted malts, and light cocoa. Medium to full body with moderate, smooth carbonation. Flavor is smoked, roasted malts, salted meat, and a bit of cocoa. A very nice smoked porter.

Bottle at Paul’s. Pours reddish amber. Nose/taste of sweet malt, pine, caramel and baked bread. Medium body.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a hazy yellow color with a large foamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was bitter grapefruit, lemon and was somewhat tart. The flavor was tart and bitter lemon and orange with a chalky presence and a bit of dish soap. The finish was long, bitter and tangy citrus. Medium body. Ok.

Draft. Cloudy pale yellow color, white edge head. Aroma of orange and lemon peel, light spice. Taste is spiced and slightly sour lemon and white bread.
