ABV: 14.5%. Clear medium amber colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, spicy honey, alcohol - rum - mead, wood - raisin. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet honey, caramel, spicy, barrel, soft, honey, caramelized honey. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190927]

Bottle. Hazy reddish color with tiny white head. Aroma is honey, caramel, wood yes, not the best combination somehow. Taste is honey, wood, vineous, tannins, earthy. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Not a bad mead, but not too exciting either.

Hazy very dark brown with no head. Sweet honey, caramel, soft spices, a bit of alcohol, dry oak, lots of palm sugar. Quite sweet, full bodied. Pretty nice!

Borefts 2019 day 2. Bottle thanks to ShivanDragon! Dark brown with no head. Sweet raisans and honey. Chipolata pudding, dark fruits, dates, figs, sweet treat, with a soft tart bend. Smooth.
