On cask at the brewery pours a hazy, neon orange with zero head. Nose has leafy hops, orange, lemon, vinous, mild pine needle. Flavor has an oily lemon thing happening, leafy veg, pine, some lime, a little tonic water. Oily finish.

4oz pour at the brewery comes a very murky, muddy brown with some creamy, ringing head. Nose has orange, some malt, a little plastic, some raisin, fruit cake. Flavor is fine just not to style, some candy, mild clove, raisin, plastic, orange, fruit cake. Kind of all over the place. Medium bodied, peppery finish. Unrefined.

22oz bottle pours a murky, deep brown with some creamy, tan head. Nose has a lot of raspberry, a bit jammy, mild chocolate, malt, a little bread crust, multigrain bread. Flavor has a lot of chocolate, malty, molasses, toast, caramel. Chalky finish.

Pretty nice beer. A little aged malt aroma. Pours black with good head and lacing. Thick consistency. Good package. Sweet finish. Bottle thanks to radagast83.

From a bottle at the DC Ratebeer event Dec. 6, 2014. Pours black with a tan head. Roasted malt nose. Flavors of leather and tobacco. BItter roast finish.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a hazy golden-orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light sweet grain notes, light smoky bubblegum notes. Mild malt sweetness. Easy to drink.

Poured a light hazy, orange-copper color, with a wispy head. Aroma was actually pretty light, a little light grain cereal notes on this one. Flavor had some light fruit notes, crisp hops, touch of floral notes. Pretty sessionable.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a cloudy yellow-orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma is nice light cranberry notes, cranberry skin, with a little light funky sweetness. Flavor is about the same. A slightly lighter abv would be awesome though.

Growler shared by maniac at the 21st Richmond Gathering, 11/1/14. Pours a hazy tan with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tropical, citrus hops, citrus zest, pale malt. The taste is tropical, citrus hops, mild piney notes, pale malts. Medium bodied, decent balance. Solid beer.
