Draft at the source. Deep brown in color, thin lasting head. Aroma is awesome. French press coffee, roasted malt and just a hint of vanilla. The flavor is just as the aroma leads you to believe; coffee at the forefront, mild roasted malt base with a lasting coffee finish. The body is about right for a 5.2 percent. The flavor is very nice. This stout is a winner!

Draft. Clear orange color. Aroma is very mild malts, no hops. Flavor is heavy on malts and reminds me of a English style pale ale. Body is medium with a slightly sweet malt finish. If you like the English side of the style, it is good.

Draft at Brickway. The cold looks like orange juice. No head yet plenty of carbonation. Aroma is mango juice, weak German yeast, light grain.

Carbonation is a tad to high. Lots of lively bubbles. Flavor is a mixture of German yeast and plenty of mango. The body is on the thinner side and doesn’t have any chewy/ yeast texture.

Nice, rich, fresh coffee aroma. Unfortunately flavor’s dominated by vanilla with coffee and chocolate playing weak roles. Sample from friend Todd S, thanks man!

750 ml bottle. It’s a dirty brown with a stupid amount of carbonation. Aroma is oak, just oak and a strange herbal hint... We thought it was infected, the flavor is mostly oak with some caramel and brown sugar. Thin body with a huge oak finish.

Almost translucent. not a lot of blackness here. pours a reddish brown a huge 4 finger head appeared although my pour wasn’t perfect. decent lacing. A little chalk aroma, marshmallow and some dark chocolate with some whip cream. Decent creamy body, thin middle and finish. There’s a bit of logic, chalk, raisin juice for sure a smoky oak taste but it tastes like an imperial roasty brown ale over an imperial stout.

750 ml bottle. About 1 year old. Dirty ruby color... Aroma is dried fruits, bready like malts, dark fruits and strong oak.

Great oak character, brown sugar, huge dark fruit. Still even after a year in the bottle is hasn’t really mellowed out. Booze is notable with an over the top sweetness. Texture is syrupy. That said, still highly drinkable.

Bottle from AFH. 750ML Bottle. A year old or so. enjoyed in a snifter. reddish orange color. Smells great. dates, raisins, dark fruits and oak....smells really good I could probably sniff this one for a while. Taste is very similar. there is an intense bitterness at the finish. up front, dark fruits, raisin and cherry. oak tannins malty throughout lingering pine cone. Really great.

Can. A- Banana, clove, spice. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Spices, yeasty, banana, cloves. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, O- Not great but I’d call this a winner compared to other things I’ve had from Brickway. Plenty of banana and spices. Almost like a spiced banana laffy taffy.
