Nitro at the brewery, 1/19/24. Aroma of chocolate, molasses, roast. Taste is chocolate, roast, coffee, vanilla. A bit to sweet but nice.

Keg at the brewery, 1/19/24. New brewery! Brewery #2251, USA #1847, Nebraska #8. Clear gold, large white head, average retention. Aroma of bready malt, earthy and green hops. Taste is pale white bread, herbal, dank, earth. Crisp, well balanced.

(Tap) slightly hazy, bright dark brown color with a small brown head; aroma of milk chocolate, hint of jam; smooth palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

Can/Fest. A- Hoppy. A- Gold color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Bitter. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish O- Really no flavor other than a generic bitterness. Pass.

Can from HyVee, Caroll, IA. (Just don't feel like adding another place for this). Nice rich nose of mild stout malt, with vanilla and, I think, the coffee nose shows as chocolate roast. Nice frothy tan head over a black beer body. Taste brings up more coffee bitterness. Bubbly like a carbonated beer, which is no distraction. Goes down nicely, making it suitable even for the summer.

Can/Fest. A- Malty, grains. A- Coper color, clear liquid, beige head. T- Malty, caramel, grains. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp finish. O- Lots of malted grain and a touch of caramel bread dough. Okay.

Draft/Fest. A- Raspberries. A- Dark pink color, cloudy liquid, off white head. T- Raspberry, tart, Italian ice. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Lots of raspberry, decent beer.

Draft/Fest. A- Tart, funky, lemon, slightly floral. A- Gold color, cloudy liquid, minimal head. T- Brett, lemon, vinegar, fish batter. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Decent sour. I think in a blind testing, this could hold it's own with some Belgian based big named sours. I definitely am underrating it. It did have a strange fried fish batter flavor to it in the aftertaste that reminded me of Long John Silvers. Weird but it's something my palate picks up on occasion on a sour and I have no idea what or why that is. No fault of the beer.
