Bottle at Maakun’s. Vintage 2016. Unclear golden with white head. Dry and tight straight apple aroma. Green apples, twigs, no fruitsugars yet a lot of aroma. Light sweet and moderate bitter. Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Very lively, bit hazy light golden with fluffy white head. Dry apple notes, green apple, quite mineral, lemon rind, dry cellar funk. Under medium sweet, sour and bitter. Medium bodied, lots of sparkly carbonation and dry finish. Good mix between fruit, funk, sour and mineral character. Nice.

Vintage 2018. My year was 6,5% ABV. Cider from Sud Ouest (Basque Land). Delivered from Bien Manger. Na tylnej etykiecie czytam ze ten cydr jest z potencjalem starzenia, zalecaja minimum 3-4 lata. Coz moze sie pospieszylem bo ten 2 letni cydr tak dobrze smakowal, ze strach pomyslec jak by sie rozwinal po kolejnych 2 latach, zabraklo pewnie by skali ocen. Teraz do rzeczy: No multi jablozkowe, bardzo jablkowe, wytrawne pelne, tresciwe, kwaskowe, nieco w posmaku ocet jablkowy. W tym cydrze z poludnia tworzy sie niesamowicie trwala piana, jak w piwie niemal, to zadkie, spotkalem sie pierwszy raz z tym. Cydr w kazdym moim odbiorze niemal idealny, zarowno w aromacie, smaku, wygladzie i ogolnej calosciowej ocenie. Pairing with Spain Chorizo and Parmegiano Regiano.

Bottle shared at home. Only has a cap, no cork, gushed a little when opening. Poured pale golden with massive but short lived bubbles on top. Light sweet, dry, mild acidic. Apple, oak, green apples, twigs, treebark funk, lemon rind. Very sharp dressing cider, very neat and tight. Crispy and crushing with some wild fire underneath. Tasty!

Bottle shared at home. Clear and pale golden with subtle active fizzy bubbles, not leading to a head. Cooled apples, green apples, light sunflower oily, woody, white wine, citrus tart notes. Light sweet, light tart, medium fruity and under medium dry. Very clean and crisp, no funky bugger. This represents a nice middle ground between English Cider, Spanish Sidra and French ‘Cidre’. Of which the latter is the least prominent. Everything about this feels like quality stuff but it’s just not my favorite kind of animal.

2017 bottle, many thanks Nische! Unclear pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is aromatic green apples, mineraly. Taste is green apples, dry, mineraly, a bit funk. Oily mouthfeel, light fizz. Dry and mineraly, very good!

750ml bottle. 2017 Vintage. Golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of tangy apple, earthy funk, caramel hints. Taste is tart, tangy, juicy apple, leathery funk, with caramel notes and soft tannin. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry juicy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear yellow with disappearing white foam. Apple juice, loads of minerals, some vanilla. Very subtle funky barnyard. Dry, with short vanilla custard finish. Beautiful.

Taste is fruity apple, light woody funk, white wine notes, with some tartness, citric. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry acidic finish. Quite drinkable.

Taste is alittle sourish, tart fruity apple, with wood, vanilla, leathery funk, earthy, citric. Medium bodied, soft fine carbonation, dry tart acidic finish. Nicely balanced, very drinkable.
