About
DAVO is ontstaan in 2012, vooral om onszelf van bier te voorzien. We brouwden toen, jawel, in pannen. Inmiddels zijn we uitgegroeid tot een team van 50 gepassioneerde bierliefhebbers, een brouwerij en drie bars: DAVO Deventer, DAVO Arnhem en DAVO Zwolle. Voor de rest is er niets veranderd. Nog steeds werken we elke dag keihard om fijne bieren te maken, te delen en te drinken. Met liefde en nog meer plezier. Zodat we kunnen proosten met lekker bier en leuke mensen. Gegarandeerd.

Euro Summer Santa 2019 - thanks to MonsterMagnet. Stark bananiger Geruch. Dunkler, würzig bananiger Antrunk, weich, vollmundig. Vergoren bananig mit erkennbarem Alkohol, gerade noch in nicht störendem Maße. Dunkles Malz, wenig Karamell, Nelke. Mittellanger Abgang. Gut. 10/11/12/11/9/11

Bottle. Deep golden color. Tangerine and white pepper in the aroma. Firm peppery hopbitter flavor with peach. At least medium bodied. Hint of alcohol. Peppery finish.

Bottle. Golden blonde, hazy. Vennel, yeast and a hint of citrus in the aroma. Thinnish. Citrus flavor with yeasty notes and vennel. Pineapple. Likeable, but with off-flavors.

Bottle. Golden color, hazy. Bready notes and citrus in the aroma. Medium bodied. Citrus, floral notes, a moderate hopbitterness and some alcohol in the flavor. Hopbitter finish with citrus and nutmeg. Nice one.

Bottle. Cherry, vanilla and vinous notes in the aroma. Malt, caramel, dry, vinous. Hints of oak and cherry. The complexity is there, also the sourness. Nice one.

Bottle. Almost black. Oak, soft roast and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with oak, vanilla and dark chocolate. Low on carbon. I can’t taste much whisky.

Draft at Davo Arnhem. Color: Hazy golden, dense white head. Aroma: Wheat, banana. Taste: Very smooth, wheat malt, pretty strong banana notes. Very light caramel. Herbal notes, coriander. Smooth mouthfeel. Moderate sweet and bitter, very lightly sour. Medium body, low carbonation.
