Draft. Hazy golden yellow color, white head. Aroma of bitter lemon. Taste is very fruity but still has beery characteristics. One of the better radlers I’ve had.

From a 1-l growler Nettes trübes Bier. Schöne frische und leicht muffige Hefenote, leicht süßlich mild. Sehr süffig, frisch. aber nicht zu tief. Weich-milder, leicht säuerlicher aber sehr süffiger Abgang, minimale Hopfennote, lecker!

Very pale in the glass. Grainy fruity nose. The beer starts smooth and fresh. Not too sweet, much more beer than lemonade. The grainy body fits in perfect to the lemon and its decent sweetness. The aftertaste is long, grainy with a subtle layer of lemonade below. An absolutely great Radler!! 12/13/12/12

The colour is muddy-yellow, doesn’t look like a typical Coke-beer. The nose is fruity-smooth, a bit grainy. The beer starts fresh and smooth. Very interesting stuff. More beer than Coke, nice, bitter-grainy, refreshing. The Coke stays nice in the background. Only slightly sweet, nice Coke flavour. The aftertaste is slightly Coke-sweet, fresh, grainy-bitter, much more beer than Coke! Great! 12/13/12/12

--> ganz nettes Kölsch, aber insgesamt etwas unspektakulär. (29.3.2009) --> Noten: 12,10,12,8,12,10 - 10,30

2l growler, donated my Shaney - many thanks!!! Hazy pale yellow colour, creamy and very persistant white head. Slightly fruity aroma. Light-bodied and elegant, malty base with a very pleasant and smooth, fine carbonation and hints of white grape and banana - somehow reminds me of southern German Federweißer - fresh, young wine, white in this case. Nice yeatsy touch and some floral hoppy hints. What a nice beer - really great!

2l siphon, kindly donated by Shaney from BTO. Clear golden colour, large white head. Floral hoppy nose. Light- to medium-bodied, solid malty background with nice floral hops, shy hints of herbs and citrus fruit. A well-balanced and very nice example of the style.

Draught in Margaretenklause in Bruhl (near Cologne). Golden with a fast-diminishing head. Aroma is malty with some grassy hops. Flavor is malty and grainy, with a bit of hops towards the finish. Medium-bodied. An average Kolsch.

(Sample #5 [100cl growler] at the first Biertest-Online Gathering, Düsseldorf, 29.12.06) Hazy, light orange colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet malty, yeasty and slightly fruity (pear) aroma with a faint herbal hoppy note. Sweet flavour, light to medium body, crispy mouthfeel. Initially yeasty and malty, slightly grainy with an aromatic, distinctive fruitiness; almost dry, yeasty and malty finish with a good dose of herbal hops. Somewhat unspectacular, but well-balanced and pretty quaffable.
