Draft. A- Chocolate, vanilla. A- Red copper color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Chocolate wafers, mild vanilla. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- A brown ale that wasn't bland and watery?! Say what!? Aroma was not as delightful as the palate but that's okay. Tasted like those chocolate creme wafer cookies. A very solid brown ale. Kinkaider might be the best Nebraska brewer after White Elm. Not always outstanding and cutting edge but they do some boring styles really well.

Draft. A- Spruce, pine, floral. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Floral, herbal, mild bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, floral finish. O- This reminded me of walking into a garden center or floral shop in early spring. It was overloaded with floral and herbal notes throughout the nose and palate. So many flowery scents and flavors I couldn't make up my mind with what exactly I was picking up. Had this fresh almost right out of the tank. Quality stuff.

Draft. A- Berry, sweet. A- Pink color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Berry, tart, sweet, slightly acidic, lemon juice, mild rubber. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, tart finish. O- Okay. Thunderhead just did an Aronia sour last year and now Kinkaider. No idea why central Nebraska breweries just play copy cat all the time. These two especially. Average really but always better than Thunderheads.

Draft. A- Smoked, subtle sausage, burnt wood. A- Brown color, dark liquid, off white head. T- Smoky, char, ashy, slightly meaty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- Solid smoked. The smoke certainly overtakes the altbier and claims it's place on top. It's a nice smoke though. Not like cigarette smoke or that super meat umami smoke but a nice distant campfire or bbq aroma and flavor. Couldn't drink pints of it, but it certainly hit the spot on a snowy winter night.

Draft. A- Peanut butter, nutty, roasty, slightly sweet. A- Amber color, slightly hazy liquid, off white head. T- Peanut butter, slightly sweet, nutty, slightly dry. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Hot damn this was outstanding! I've had several peanut butter beers now from some of the best like Belching Beaver. This tops them all. Doesn't taste fake or cloyingly sweet. Like liquid peanut butter. A bit roasty, dry, and downright delish. After the oatmeal cookie amber ale and this one, I'm beginning to think Kinkaider kills it at the light dessert beers. Usually reserved for stouts, they know their way around a typically shitty base beer and make it magical.

Draft. A- Chai tea, cocoa. A- Black color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Chai, heavy spices, cocoa, slightly roasty. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- I had 4 oz of this before dinner, then tried 4 other samplers while dining on Nashville Hot Chicken and waffles and 3.5 hours later I can still taste the chai spice in my mouth. This was overkill with the chai spice. My wife could tolerate because it didn't taste like beer. More like alcoholic chai tea. Hard to believe it's almost 12%. Not terrible but needs some refining.

Draft. A- Pine, citrus. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Pine, bitter, citrus, grassy. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- First new IPA I've had in a while that wasn't hazy, fruity, extreme, or something else. A straight forward IPA. Doesn't mean I loved it but it reminded me of what IPA's used to be.

Draft/Fest. A- Mild cherry. A- Golden peach color, hazy liquid, white head. T- White chocolate, spice, mild cherry. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- Love this idea but I also wanted more. The BA didn't actually provide enough influence. Also wanted a lot more cherry. Some saison spice was present as well as an odd white chocolate flavor. Fine tuning and this would be really lovely.
