Draft. A- Roasty, coffee, weak. A- Dark mahogany color, clear liquid, tan head. T- Chocolate, dry cocoa, weak. P- Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- Smells decent but of coffee not chocolate. Then the palate has no coffee and chocolate. Odd beer. It was fair but needs some work.

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at Missies Discount Liquor in Shawnee, Kansas. I like the label on this beer. Pour is hazed amber copper with a smallish light tan head. Aroma is malt, dirty sweet earthy malt along with a very light apple fruit sweetness. Under the malt is a very light smoke roastiness. Taste is unclean sharp sweet fruit malt, a touch of nuttiness then turns quick to a vegetal earthy burning grass. The initial sip was pretty harsh, though subsequent sips did ease up some. Palate is medium bodied, though a bit oily and slick in the finish. The aftertaste is coarse malt, and a very unnatural sweetness. I have seen this for as low as $3.99 a six pack, though I am glad I only bought one.
