Description
Legendary Place. Legendary Taste.

For going on a century, “Green Bay” has been synonymous with professional football, a place where guts meet grit on the field of play, and the gridiron greats of nine decades live on. Those who call Green Bay home couldn’t be prouder of that link.

At the same time, we’re also aware of our unique place in Wisconsin’s history.

We’re part of the fabric of a centuries-old community, a culture defined by the adventurous spirit of 17th-century French-Canadian merchants, the raw determination of settlers who came to log and farm; the visionary industrialists who established paper mills, breweries, canneries and other businesses; and the pioneers of transportation who connected our community to the rest of the nation by rail.

Both histories — our connection to the Green-and-Gold and our link to a storied cultural past — come together within the historic walls of Titletown.

The spirit of the community is embodied by the Titletown family and our commitment to delivering personalized, authentic experiences to our guests.

And that in itself is legendary.

Tap at Alchemy. Paler than I would have guessed. Filtered tan body, creamy steady head. A nice sweet champagne effervescence, authentic Belgian mouthfeel. A toasty almond flavor. Easy drinking, rather well executed. Some light cider tones, sort of suggesting it is a little off.

Last of the keg at Old Fashioned. Looks filtered, orange-brown body. Big creamy off-white head. This one is odd, non-carbonation cask feel with a smooth smoked banana malt body. I love smoke beers, but this one is sort of odd...yet grows on me. Very unique.

Pale filtered orange-tan. Thin, steady white head. Pretty schwaggy beer. Intentionally so I suppose, still fresh and enjoyable. Corny, boring beer, what’s the point?

Tap at Dexters. Filtered-looking orange-brown. Big, steady beige head. A pretty decent Amber by WI standards. Clean malt tones, doughy and fresh. Maybe a distant touch of meaty smoked malt. Excellent balance. Not mind blowing stuff but well executed.

Tap at Old Fashioned, not on nitro. Filtered orange-tan, creamy white head. Medium bodied, mellow carbonation, really capture the essence of a British Bitter, a rarity for sure in stateside beers. Creamy amber malt, delicate but present hops. A touch watery, which adds to the true feel. Excellent smooth malt tones. Great mouthfeel.

A reddish copper ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, a weird grassy malt with sour cabbage, pickles, strange. In mouth, a sweetish sour and watery interpretation, with sour cherries, a bit off. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.

Tap at Titletown. Filtered amber body with a big off-white. Huge Belgian yeast tones, fruity..with a clean, creamy body. Toffee, red fruit, smooth amber malt maybe. Really well done.

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. This beer is a slightly hazy orange color with a wispy white head and spotty lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of fruity hops, malt and caramel. The finish is hoppy with a tropical fruit aftertaste. Above average overall.
