Tap at Old Fashioned. Deep burgundy brown body. Sweet, pretty dialed in for an Imperial Amber. Sweet, but balanced, this is one of the better BH beer I’ve tried. Rich caramel tones. OK.

22oz bottle. Opaque black body. Massive beige head, steady. Probably one of the better BH beers I have had. Sweet sugary brown chocolate. Not overbearing. Quite nice.

Draft, some bar in milwaukee. From notes. Citrus and pine dominate with a decent toffee malt backbone. Pretty decent brew.

Tap at OF. Filtered looking orange-brown. Big off-white/beige head. Pretty nice aroma, some cool crisp hoppiness, but also a pinch of butter. Pretty bold hopwise, resinous and thick. Big, strong, sugary. In line with Black Husky’s other hoppy offerings. OK.

Bottle shared by skyview. This is a solid beer, true to syle. Lightly sweet. Malt with a very dry finish, it could pass for a German example.

22oz bomber shared at Andy’s house post Big Barrel Tararell. Red-brown body. Super sweet extract richness. Butterscotch undercurrents, not really that enjoyable. Maple overload. Not so refined, tastes like homebrew caramel overload.

Bottle courtesy of nuplastikk, thank you! Dense black color, equally thick brown head. Aroma of dark cocoa, coffee grounds. Taste is espresso, chocolate syrup, subtle licorice. Tasty.

Tap at Sugar Maple. Chunky brown=black body, thin steady head. A big, brutal, ugly, smoked beer. Oily, excess crystal malt and a big burnt smoke edge. Ugly. Harsh. One of the worst Smoked beers I’ve ever had. Not meant for human consumption.
