A little too bitter and astringent. Otherwise it’s bright and crisp. Snowbank fort collins

On tap at Restaurant 415, Fort Collins. Hazy orange, white head. Ouch, no hoppiness, sweetish, malty, old.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a cup. Clear orange with small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body, medium carbonation, and a little lacing. Taste is coffee and grassy hops.

Taster at Brix. Pours a hazy, dark copper color, with a medium, frothy, white head and excellent lacing. The aroma is sharp, citrus, with a bit of pickles and cucumber. Fairly sweet, with a nice, mellow, sour flavor. Light body, sharp, and acidic, but with a nice, clean finish. This is a nicely done sour. The cucumbers don’t really add much, though, that I can tell.

Super hazy very light, almost white pale glow, with some tan noticeable and a small white head. Aroma of sour juice, acid and a bit of noticeable funk. Light-bodied; Very nice mellow sweetness with some malt, a touch of mellow hops and a lot more of the sour and sweet flavours that dominate this one. Aftertaste is very easy-going and super mild with the sour notes showing like a juice and the sweetness mild and still. Overall, a very nice light beer that is very easy to drink, packs a good deal of flavour and shows very well from looks to stomach. I sampled this ten ounce pour on draught at the Brew Pub in Fort Collins, Colorado on 04-June-2017 for US$3,50.

Super hazy deep dark brown coloured body with a muddied glow and a thinnish pure white head. Aroma of yeast, pit fruits, alcohol, chocolate and a dose of coffee noticeable at the tail end. Medium to Full-Bodied; Strong malty flavour with a dose of caramel and figs alongside a nice and earthy bite from yeast with not much alcohol noticeable at all and hardly any coffee as well though, just a refined banana and clove ester funk that shows with the yeast. Aftertaste is well structured and somewhat complex with the yeast strain, the light coffee, earth and chocolate all around. Overall, a very easy drinking beer considering the strength, but missing out on depth of flavours and complexity throughout. Nice to sample on draught - labeled as ’Coffee Quad’ at the brewpub.
