Amarillenta, ligeramente turbia. Muy burbujeante y con muy abundante espuma poco densa. Aroma muy frutal, citrico, un poco a flumil, acentuado por la altisima efervescencia, que se respira. En boca, se hace notar mucho, lo que rebaja lo que adelantaba en el aroma. En cualquier caso muy frutal, empalagosa y sin el contraste especiado de las buenas weizen alemanas. Intento frustado, aunque curioso.

Bottle at the DC Expanded Sour Tasting. Shared by nimbleprop, thanks! Clear yellow with off-white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel, butter, cardboard. Light body with a dry finish.

From a 33 CL bottle shared at Travlr’s sour beer tasting. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Aroma toast. Flavors of spent wort. OOf.

33cl bottle in Bogota pours a deep amber with some creamy, white head. Nose has a bit of booze, raisin, malt, some plum, bubblegum, mild clove. Drinks a lot bigger than 6%, lots of raisin, some butterscotch, clove, pitted fruit, malt. Fairly full bodied. Interesting.

33cl bottle in Bogota pours a clear gold with some foamy head that faded quick. Nose of straw, wet malt, soggy bread, mild perfume. Flavor is quite sweet, cheap malt, honey, mild lemon, mild cracker. Watery finish.

33cl bottle in Bogota pours a clear amber with some tight, white head. Nose is what you expect, mildly yeasty, some malt, a little dried apple, orange. Flavor follows, soggy cracker, orange, mild apple, bread crust. Watery finish. Not terrible.

Bottle thanks to my friend Keith: Poured a caramel brown with a thin tan whispery head. Aroma was fruit and Belgium yeast esters. Taste was sweet malts, doughy yeast, light fruit, and some carbonated burn.

Brown bottle, 330 cc, best before 28/12/09, gift from Luc Bourbonnière (merci!), savoured on November 7 2013; eye: coppery, lightly hazy, nice effervescence, nice tan head that turns into a sheet, light lacing; nose: malt, caramel; mouth: malt, caramel, light acridness, finale in malt with light acrid presence, medium body, mildly sweet, lightly harsh texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 330 cc, meilleure avant 28/12/09, cadeau de Luc Bourbonnière (merci!), savourée le 7 novembre 2013; œil : cuivrée, légèrement voilée, bonne effervescence, bonne mousse fauve qui se transforme en une couche, légère dentelle; nez : malt, caramel; bouche : malt, caramel, légère âcreté, finale en malt avec légère présence d’âcreté, corps moyen, moyennement sucrée, texture légèrement rugueuse; en résumé : correct
